Five Elements Branch
Interaction of Five ElementsThe Five Elements or Wu Xing are also known as the Five Movements, Five Phases or Five Steps. Each of the five elements is capable of enhancing, weakening or destroying the other elements. They are regarded as the foundation of everything in the universe and natural phenomena.
Excessive indulgence or control of any one element will upset the equilibrium, and bring disharmony to the home or office. |
Destructive or Conquering CycleExpert advice is necessary for invoking this cycle. Any incorrect application may result in an equally bad or worse situation. It is better to use the weakening cycle to dissipate or weaken the negative energy. This could be done by causing the negative energy to work or exhaust itself out in controlling the stronger element.
